We have a process for checking in with our clients and when I say we, I mean the management team. It doesn’t matter whether you are the practice leader for higher education government or oil and gas, we have a similar process. Our check-in is not only with the client to say “hi, how are you”. It’s forward looking – it’s looking through the windshield not the rearview mirror. What do you think are going to be the biggest hurdles for the project from your perspective – the clients perspective – and how can we get ahead of those [roadblocks].
Everyone’s integrated with the same project plan. We know where we’re at. Where we’re headed and it’s in real-time. So everybody knows where the project stands and that we’re all working and aligned together. Our performance and tracking tool that we use is awesome because it allows the client and the consultant to both utilize the tools to see where they stand on different projects. We’re looking to see if there’s any improvement. How’s the consultant liking the job and how the client likes the consultant to see if it’s really that perfect match.
