About this Quick-Start Workshop
A Project Health Check is a reflective learning exercise - a snapshot of the status of a project or program in order to identify what is going well and what areas need improvement. It enables Project Managers, Project Sponsors and the project team who are often so involved in the day-to-day activities the ability to recognize the true status of a project.
The focus of the Project Health Check Quick-Start workshop is to partner with the Project Sponsor, Project Manager and team to gain an independent assessment of how well the project or program is performing in accordance with the project’s stated goals and objectives. The assessment provides early warning indicators of project risks and barriers that may lead to poor performance while recognizing the strengths and enablers of the team to achieve success.
- Review (or restate) the project goals, objectives and key performance measures
- Distribute and analyze a project health survey of common risk factors among IT Projects (i.e. scope management, roles & responsibilities, cost & time management, available resources, contingency planning, governance, etc.)
- Analyze survey results and prepare key findings report
- Distribute report to project sponsors, project team and key stakeholders
- Facilitate discussion of project strengths and performance enhancing opportunities
Over the course of four days, our expert facilitators will help you and your team work through the key steps and activities required to complete a Project Health Check Report for your project.
